Boston Properties appoints Douglas Linde to board

Boston Properties Inc., the real estate investment trust whose portfolio includes Prudential Tower and 111 Huntington Ave., said that Douglas T. Linde has been appointed to fill the vacancy on its board of directors resulting from the recent death of Edward H. Linde, Douglas Linde’s father.

Douglas Linde also currently serves as the president of Boston Properties, the company’s press release noted.

Company chairman Mortimer B. Zuckerman said in a statement: “Doug joined the company in 1997, and his expertise, energy, and leadership have enabled him to assume greater responsibilities over time, including his previous role as chief financial officer and his current role as president.”
