On JUN. 17, 2013 – How are we Leading The Way? will be an opportunity for human services leaders and partners to engage in a discussion of the possibilities of social innovation.
The program will include a presentation of findings in Leading The Way: Social Innovation in Massachusetts Human Services; a joint report produced by Boston College and the Providers’ Council released on March 25, 2013. This report is based on interviews with more than 20 human service organizations in the Commonwealth that are practicing social innovation. The conversation will include a discussion of types of social innovation initiatives being implemented in Massachusetts; steps taken by practitioners; examples of success; lessons learned by the master social innovators. Social innovators will be invited to share their own experiences firsthand and there will be ample time for open discussion.
