Dear Members,
We were happy to see so many of you at our summer events, including our Bird Walk, the Rose Garden Picnic, and the summer concerts at Mother’s Rest and Ramler Park.
This fall we are launching a new campaign to increase our visibility in the neighborhood. We work hard to keep tabs on developments in the Fenway, and to address quality of life issues for residents. We hope to increase community awareness of our efforts, and encourage neighborhood input and participation in our activities. After all, engagement with one’s neighborhood and connectedness to one’s community are important ingredients for an informed, empowered citizenry.
As part of this campaign, we have revamped our website. We encourage you to take a look at the new website at: http://fenwaycivic.org. The front page has blog postings with up-to-date information about neighborhood news and happenings. The links on the top and side of the page provide more information about what we’re up to:
Check out the Events page for notices of upcoming neighborhood events, and photos from our recent summer community gatherings.
Check out the Bulletin Board for recent letters issued by FCA and information on our neighborhood improvement projects, including the Duck House, Dickson Park, and Symphony Park.
Check out the Get Involved page for information on our affiliate organizations, including the Fenway Young Professionals, the Fenway Graffiti Squad, and the Friends of Ramler Park.
As always, we encourage you to contact us about issues that are of importance to you and ideas you have for improving our community.
