| Boston-area Academic Enrichment Programs |
| If you live in the Boston-area and have children who are looking to get ahead academically, there are many academic enrichment programs out there currently recruiting students. Please see below for a summary of some of these programs.
BREAKTHROUGH GREATER BOSTON Boston location: Application deadline: January 22, 2013 Entry points and eligibility: Students must currently be in 6th grade and attend Tech Boston Academy.
Cambridge location: Application deadline: Applications will be available in January 2013; please contact the program directly for specific deadline information. Entry points and eligibility: Students must be in 6th grade and attend a Cambridge public school or the Prospect Hill Charter School. Visit Breakthrough Greater Boston online.
LET’S GET READY Spring 2013 program: Application deadline: February 11, 2013 Entry points and eligibility: Students must currently be in 11th grade.
MIT MITES Summer 2013 program: Application deadline: January 15, 2013 Entry points and eligibility: Students must apply during their junior year in high school and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
THE STEPPINGSTONE FOUNDATION College Success Academy (CSA): Application deadline: January 31, 2013 Entry points and eligibility: Students must currently be in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade at the Edison K-8, Jackson/Mann K-8, or the Gardner Pilot Academy.
The Steppingstone Academy (TSA): Application deadline: January 2, 2013 Entry points and eligibility: Students must currently be in 4th or 5th grade, live in the city of Boston, and not currently attend an independent school.
