6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Meet at Sharf Visitor Center
Hinduism is among the oldest living religions in the world, and it has played an enormous role in shaping the cultural and artistic traditions of India and the East. Discover several of the deities in the Hindu pantheon through a selection of artifacts and works from the MFA’s rich Asian collection. Gallery Talk led by Iris Cahill, graduate student lecturer. Made possible by The Lowell Institute.
Drawing in the Galleries
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Gallery 177
Join us every Wednesday evening for an opportunity to sketch from a live model and from objects in our Asian collection. A drawing instructor provides insights on drawing technique and the artist-model relationship as it informs the creation of artwork. Made possible by The Lowell Institute.
We look forward to seeing you on the Wednesday, November 14th!
